Our purpose
SellerTake helps US online sellers model marketplace fees, estimated payout, net profit, margin, ROI, break-even price, and target selling price. The calculators are designed for a pricing decision, not merely a headline fee comparison.
The official public website is https://sellertake.com. Other hostnames are deployment infrastructure and are not the canonical publication address.
Who publishes the calculators
SellerTake is an independent publisher and software project. It is not a marketplace, broker, tax preparer, accounting firm, or payment processor. Etsy, Amazon, eBay, TikTok, Whatnot, Depop, and other marketplace names belong to their respective owners.
Editorial standards
Marketplace defaults are added only when a publicly accessible official marketplace source supports the rate, threshold, fee basis, and region. When fulfillment, advertising, seller status, or account terms make a charge variable, the interface asks the seller to enter it instead of manufacturing an average.
Each calculator displays its sources, last-verified date, assumptions, exceptions, and a small history. Formula behavior is covered by automated tests, including thresholds and reverse-calculation checks. The full process is documented on the methodology page.
Independence and future advertising
The initial release contains no live advertisements, sponsored rankings, affiliate links, paid placement, or marketplace endorsements. The layout reserves limited future publisher locations outside forms and results. If advertising is introduced, it will not determine fee data, rankings, or calculator outputs.
What the site cannot know
A public calculator cannot see private account agreements, category decisions, measured package dimensions, reserves, refunds, seller-performance adjustments, or newly launched promotions. The result is an estimate that should be reconciled against the marketplace fee preview and final statement.
Corrections are welcome
If an official fee page changes or a formula does not match a documented example, please use the contact instructions. A correction report is most useful when it includes the region, effective date, official URL, inputs, and expected fee line.
